Attorney Roxana Aftahi earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Social Behavior with a minor in Criminology, Law and Society from the University of California, Irvine. She earned her Juris Doctorate at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California.
While at the University of California, Irvine, Attorney Aftahi gained certification as a mediator at Orange County Human Relations. She was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and supported Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) to impact the lives of foster children. During her time at Thomas Jefferson, she participated in a study abroad program at a law school in China, where she took classes about international law. She was also a member of The Middle Eastern Law Students Association (MELSA).
Attorney Aftahi believes in giving back to the community. She has donated hours to the Thomas Jefferson Pro Bono Legal Clinic, where she has provided legal advice in various fields of law. She has handled matters in civil litigation, estate planning, family law, consumer law and real estate law. At the Edmunds Law Firm, Attorney Aftahi focuses on family law and security clearance matters.
Attorney Aftahi is a San Diego native and is fluent in Farsi. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, spending quality time with family and friends, and hanging with her Pomeranian, Bertie.
