Guideline G
San Francisco, California
Case No.: 08-07826
February 22, 2010
On February 22, 2010 the Administrative Judge granted a favorable decision with regards to a security clearance matter. Security concerns arose during Applicant’s background investigation with regard to Guideline G, Alcohol Consumption. This individual, a specialty engineer manager, had a history of excessive alcohol consumption resulting in alcohol related arrests and treatment in several facilities for alcohol dependence. Attorney Randi B. Walker was able to mitigate these concerns through witness testimony, numerous exhibits and then made the final argument. Upon review of the evidence presented, the Administrative Judge found that it was clearly consistent with the national interest to grant Applicant’s security clearance.

I spoke with my company's security personnel today. They informed me that, from everything they have access to, shows my clearance has been restored. I have my Top Secret clearance back and I can regain the SCI portion if required. It seems that my next interview for an update will be in 2014. So, I guess before I close this e-mail I will give you my heart-felt thanks for your help in this matter. Once again, Thank You!
