Guideline E & I
Guideline E – Personal Conduct
Guideline I – Psychological Conditions
Case No.: 10-01427
Washington, D.C.
August 5, 2010
On August 5, 2010 the Edmunds Law Firm received written notification of a favorable decision made by the Administrative Judge in a security clearance matter. The hearing for this matter was held in Washington, D.C. on March 23, 2010. In this case, there were security concerns pertaining to Guideline E – Personal Conduct and Guideline I – Psychological Conditions. The evidence showed that the Applicant had a longstanding history of inappropriate interpersonal relationships with females and several letters of recommendation that expressed concerns about the Applicant’s disruptive behavior. Applicant also received an evaluation from a medical professional that noted concerns of emotional stability. Attorney Edmunds was able to demonstrate through witness testimony and documentary evidence that the Applicant was trustworthy, and met the eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Upon consideration of the evidence presented, the Administrative Judge found that it was clearly consistent with the national interest to grant Applicant’s security clearance.
“I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for your tireless advocacy on my behalf. You have provided me with excellent representation for me from the outset of this drawn-out process, and its ultimately successful outcome is unquestionably linked with your commitment to your clients.”
