Guideline B
Guideline B – Foreign Influences
Dayton, Ohio
Case No.: 09-00990
July 8, 2010
On July 8, 2010, the Edmunds Law Firm received written notification of a favorable decision made by the Administrative Judge in a security clearance matter. The hearing for this matter was held in Dayton, Ohio on February 22, 2010. In this case, there were security concerns pertaining to Guideline B – Foreign Influences. The evidence showed that the Applicant was born in The People’s Republic of China and had family members currently living there. Applicant also contacted family members in The PRC periodically, which raised several security concerns. Attorney Edmunds was able to demonstrate through witness testimony and documentary evidence that the Applicant was trustworthy, and met the eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Upon consideration of the evidence presented, the Administrative Judge found that it was clearly consistent with the national interest to grant Applicant’s security clearance.
“You made my day. This is the best to hear in 2010. I’m so happy and proud to have your law firm to represent me in my case. I for sure will recommend this firm to all people need such help. Again, thank you so much for all you did for me.”
