San Jose, California
August 23, 2010
On August 23, 2010 The Edmunds Law Firm received written notification of a favorable decision made by the Administrative Judge in a security clearance matter. The hearing for this matter was held in San Jose, California on June 24, 2010. In this case, there were security concerns pertaining to Guideline B – Foreign Influence. The evidence showed that the Applicant’s wife, mother-in-law, father-in-law and two brothers-in-law were citizens of Russia. Applicant’s in-laws left Russia seeking religious asylum in the United States and no longer reside in Russia. Applicant had never traveled to Russia and never spoke Russian. The Edmunds Law Firm was able to demonstrate through witness testimony and documentary evidence that the Applicant was trustworthy, and met the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
