Favorable Decision Despite Debts and a DUI
On January 23, 2012 the Edmunds Law Firm received notice of a favorable decision. The applicant’s clearance was revoked due to Financial Considerations and Personal Conduct. The Applicant had several past due accounts on his credit report and failed to disclose information about his DUI during security processing. The Edmunds Law Firm prepared a written response to the Applicant’s SOR in which they were able to mitigate the Government’s security concerns. The Applicant’s clearance was quickly reinstated without the need for a formal hearing.
“My clearance was re-instated on March 5th. I was notified on March 8th that I could resume my normal duties…It was exactly one week from when I obtained your service. So, many many thanks again.”
